This winter, we’ll be celebrating a truly wonderful year of Season 10 Stage Productions!
Join us at The Matrix Theatre on Melrose for It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play to Benefit Charity! Season 10 returns to West Hollywood with a winter favorite, Joe Landry’s radio play-take on the Frank Capra movie classic. All proceeds from our ticket sales will be going toward Pico Union Project and The Midnight Mission, two great organizations that support our local community.
This limited engagement will be held at The Matrix Theatre in West Hollywood, CA [7657 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046] across from Melrose High School. There is a free street parking in the evenings, metered for matinees. The show will be followed by a brief intermission, and then a concert of Winter favorites by Season 10 favorites and friends!
Seating is based on general admission, so be sure to arrive at least 15-30 minutes before showtime to grab your desired seat. There are no bad seats in the house! We will have a concession stand with snacks and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) available for a suggested donation.
Starring a stellar cast of returning Season 10 alum, Wonderful Life tells the story of George Bailey(Danny Minshall), the owner of Bedford Falls’ one and only Building and Loan service, as he takes a courageous last stand against greedy slumlord/robber baron Potter(Michelle Lukes).
Follow him though his “ordinary” life as he helps his friends and family(Jordan Davis-Miller, Nick DiCola, Isabel Stallings, Adelaide Bass, Aleksander Ristic) through seemingly small acts of kindness, and meets his one true love Mary(Athena Saxon). One troubled Christmas Eve, George invokes the help of two otherworldly helpers(Christopher Manning and Michael Ursu) who come to make him realize the change one man is capable of.
Returning on our design team, we have Ella Nelson on costumes, hair and make-up by Kat Phan, and music direction by Robbie Simmons!
